Ice Cream Emporium will be brought to you by the owners of Pizza Plus / Gold Dust Pizza. They ‘re so excited to bring an old fashioned ice cream parlor to their hometown. They love ice cream, you love ice cream, let’s all scream for ice cream.
They ‘re focused on providing you with an old fashioned Ice Cream Parlor experience for you and your entire family. They want you to feel that this is your hometown ice cream parlor because it is. They serve gourmet ice cream from San Francisco. They offer shakes, malts, old fashion banana splits, a variety of wonderful sundaes, old school candy , cookies and drinks.
There are tables inside and outside with small vases of pink flesh. The atmosphere is one of the old 50’s ice cream shops that has always created an aura of fun and happiness and a place to meet friends. The shop is located in the 100 block of West Main Street, just two doors away from the well-preserved Pizza Plus Restaurant.
It was the former home of the Burgess Bakery. A movie on the Myripon.com video site shows a couple of high school teachers visiting the Emporium.
The inside is right out of Disneyland. The pink walls are decorated with beautiful Disney art, the vintage gold decoration and light fixtures, and the entire wall is a black and white photo of Judy Garland and Mickey Rooney.
Its ice cream is absolutely delicious. They have wonderful sundaes like the Strawberry Cheesecake Sunday and the new Matterhorn, a mint chocolate sundae. Their ice cream sandwiches are huge and amazing, but the most impressive creation is their Grand Emporium, a 15-scoop sundae with 15 toppings.
A lot of choices and types of ice cream (milk, sorbets, soya) and everything you need can be customized to get what you want. This new place has a wonderful staff ready to help and deliver your treats. Outside the sitting is under the overhang and the tree is shaded with a lot of chairs.
Overall, the Ice Cream Emporium is a nice little addition to downtown Ripon and a great place for a family trip with children. Customers will surely love the vibe, concept, atmosphere and the ice creams.
