Manteca Transit
Manteca Transit provides a fixed route and bus service for Dial-a-Ride in Manteca with stops throughout the city at key locations. Fixed route service is characterized as a transit passenger service in which vehicles travel along a specified route and stop at predetermined times to collect and drop passengers. Within the boundaries of Manteca City, Manteca Transit operates three fixed routes. Manteca Transit Dial-a-Ride program is the basis of a service for people with a registered disability, veterans, age 62 and older, and participants in Medicare.
Manteca Crossroads Street Faire
The Manteca Crossroads Street Faire is one of the region’s biggest fairs and selected as one of Northern California’s best events to attend. Every year, it draws more than 30,000 people to celebrate with food, music, vendors and activities. For more than 22 years, the Faire has helped bring the community together in a huge festival that helps to raise thousands of dollars in revenue for the city and local businesses in addition to serving our residents and visitors.
Big League Dreams Sports Parks
Big League Dreams Sports Parks are the location for you if you’ve ever dreamed of playing in a big league stadium. The playing fields are designed as scaled-down replicas of popular ballparks such as Fenway Park in Boston, Yankee Stadium in New York, and Wrigley Field in Chicago. All are designed to accommodate baseball, fast pitch softball for children, and slow pitch softball for adults.
Great Wolf Lodge
The Great Wolf Lodge is a 500-room family resort is being built on a 29-acre lot along the western end of Daniels Street, next to Costco and adjacent to the Big League Dreams Sports Park off Highway 120. The resort will feature a 95,000-square-foot indoor water park, a 45,000-square-foot family entertainment center and several dining options among other amenities. The pools are all heated and feature an assortment of body slides, tube slides, raft rides and splash areas. The entertainment center, called the Great Wolf Adventure Park, will have a multi-level ropes course, miniature golf course, video arcade and MagiQuest – Great Wolf Lodge’s signature live-action adventure game.
The Promenade Shops
The Orchard Valley Promenade Shops in a perfect location to prosper. Phase I, together with the AMC Showplace Manteca 16 Theater, opened in 2008 with the first Bass Pro Shops in Northern California. Many tenants, including JC Penney, Hampton Inn, and Red Robin followed. The development phase II involves combining specialty shops with restaurants and fast casual dining. It’s a creative project that mixes value-oriented, brand name shopping with great dining and entertainment.
