Oak Farm Vineyards

Oak Farm Vineyards is a family-owned and operated estate winery in Lodi, California.

The property was originally owned by William DeVries and his wife Cornelia Crowe, who bought it in 1860. The area was known as “Elkhorn Township” at the time. DeVries farmed wheat, raised cattle, and even served as a Justice of the Peace. William built the lovely colonial-style house in 1876. The property has been extensively renovated while paying close attention to its historical significance. The ranch was well-known throughout the San Joaquin Valley as one of the most magnificent and beautiful properties in California. DeVries was an enthusiastic lover of trees, particularly of oaks, and on the home ranch, he never allowed a tree to be cut unless it was a menace. Today, many of the property’s enormous oaks still stand, along with the DeVries family burial plot.

The Panellas moved to the area in 1936 and began an agricultural journey that culminated in the purchase of Oak Farm in 2004. As a third generation California farmer, Dan relished the task of replanting the property’s 60 acres of vineyards in 2012 in order to realize Lodi’s vast potential. Dan leads a talented team in developing a diverse portfolio of wines made from estate fruit, which includes 14 different grape varieties as well as grapes sourced selectively.

Today, Oak Farm Vineyards provides a wine tasting experience unrivaled in the Lodi appellation. Their tasting room is surrounded by a 70-acre oasis of lush vines and majestic century-old oaks. Out-of-town visitors are also accommodated at Annadan Suites, a beautiful vacation rental located within walking distance of the tasting room. The tasting room is open by appointment seven days a week.

Patio Tasting Experience 

Enjoy a private seated tasting on their East Patio, which overlooks vineyards and 300+ year old majestic oak trees. One of their knowledgeable and friendly hosts will educate you on the history of Oak Farm Vineyards and lead you through a flight of exclusive library wines and wines not currently available for tasting in the Tasting Room. A complimentary seasonal cheese plate with assorted artisan cheeses, salami, fruit, and nuts is also included in this tasting experience.

Tasting Bar Experience 

This experience is available Monday-Friday for groups up to 6 guests and is $20 per person. Your tasting includes a flight of 5 wines from our current wine menu (2 white wines and 3 red wines), and will be hosted by one of our talented Tasting Room Specialists. This experience will last about 30-45 minutes. Each bottle purchased waives one tasting fee. Circle OF Friends Wine Club members will receive two complimentary wine tasting flights.

Private Club Room

This private room, which is directly connected to the tasting room, has three granite countertops, a large gas fireplace, two large rustic boardroom tables that can be combined or separated, a large flat screen TV for video or powerpoint presentations, and an independent heating and air conditioning unit. For groups ranging from 11 to 40 people.

Their on-site wedding director and coordinators work with you to plan and execute the most important day of your life. They will assist you in selecting a caterer, locating the best photographer, matching the wine to your menu, and locating a pastor to officiate the wedding. Their wedding director specializes in providing this level of care to bridal parties, particularly those who choose Oak Farm as a destination wedding venue and are unfamiliar with the options available in the Centrum.
