San Francisco Code Compliance

The San Francisco Remote Fill features the common leak detector alarm and the two dry contact alarm monitors required by the Fire Department. The machine operator must place the fill switch activated for a fill operation in the on location. In the regular or bottom tank, the control panel controls the level. The solenoid valve opens when fuel hits the high level and the warning light is triggered in the remote fill and at the control panel. A system operator is allowed to silence the alarm local from the remote fill or control pane, but until the fill switch is placed out, the alarm light remains illuminated and energized. The control panel monitors the remote filling and top of the day or belly tank leak detectors. The control panel for a piping tray or piping sump provides an input of the replacement leak detector.

The remote supply system consists of a remote filling box NEMA 4 and a remote fill control panel matching NEMA 4. A flush or fixed surface or free standing with an optional rack may be the mobile fill enclosure. The unit is fitted with a full warning, whistle, silence and fill toggle.
