The Reynolds Gallery is a premier space dedicated to the art exhibition. Located on the campus of the University of the Pacific at the Jeannette Powell Art Center, the Reynolds Gallery provides students and the public with the means to develop perception skills and visual arts language, knowledge of diverse media, and understanding of the historical and cultural context of visual arts. Each year, the Reynolds Gallery presents a number of exhibitions covering a variety of art mediums.
The Reynolds Gallery acts as a crossroads for Pacific students and the region, linking artists and audiences to visual arts and other disciplines. It also promotes the application of visual literacy, professional development and personal growth. In support of the educational mission of the Department, two exhibitions each year focus on student artwork, which gives students the opportunity to exhibit artwork in a professional setting.
The Reynolds Gallery is located at the Jeannette Powell Art Center, 1071 W. Mendocino Ave. Stockton. The Gallery is open Monday-Friday 9:00 a.m. -4:30 p.m. p.m. Admission is free of charge. Currently, the Reynolds Gallery Exhibition Program is only open during the academic year.
The Reynolds Gallery is hosting artists and scholars in a series of exhibitions, lectures and workshops to link our students and the region to the curricula of the Art Department. The Gallery provides opportunities for students to develop professionally through classes, undergraduate research and internships.
