Windmill Ridge Winery is nestled on 3.8 acres in the Tracy Hills appellation. Windmill Ridge Winery has expanded since its establishment in 2008 to deliver a range of award winning wines, including wine sampling, event center, and rental facilities. When you enter the gated entrance you are suddenly transported to the peaceful beauty from city life. As you enter the vast lawn field, you smell the fragrant roses and jasmine and look at the beautifully manicured landscapes. A circular walkway through the lawn area leads you to the Victorian Pavilion, flanking with more roses and the ideal shade of nature: mature mulberry, chinaberry, and pecans. People are invited to come and enjoy our Chardonnay, Petite Sirah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Merlot Rose’, Barbera, Doce Fim (Port). Visitors can try their Touriga wines, Souzao, which honor our Portuguese heritage.
Windmill Ridge Winery recently acquired by the Violante family! Since Windmill Ridge Winery was originally established in 2007 by Bill and Stephanie Prioste in Northern California’s Tracy Hills appellation, it has enjoyed a devoted, near-cult-like following. Since its establishment, Jorge Violante has been the Winemaker of the winery. You are coming for exciting improvements!! In 2008 the editors of the San Joaquin Magazine selected Windmill Ridge Winery for Best New Winery. The Tracy Chamber of Commerce named Business of the Year in 2009, and Best of Tracy in 2010 to 2014. They’re hoping you’ll come and enjoy the parties, concerts and wines at their fine winery.
The winery is charming but tiny. The landscape is well maintained and the event’s overall layout was perfect. The owner was really good. The staff were very compassionate and courteous. They are usually open on weekends unless they have any other activities happening. People can try a number of different types of wines, search the back where the barrels of wine were kept and search out the properties in the backyard. The hors d’oeuvres were fantastic, and the price was great.This place is highly recommended for a loved one day date or for a big group looking to have a fun time together. A winery is a wine-producing building or property, or a wine-producing company, such as a wine enterprise. Windmill Ridge Winery is certainly a gem in Tracy, California.
